HOW it STARTED

For a long time, I couldn’t drink wine without feeling like a complete turd the day after. No bueno with babies. Then a friend introduced me to Scout & Cellar, a wine start-up out of Dallas. Drank some. Felt like a completely normal person the next day. And added to that, being a creative director, you know a “never been done before” idea when you see one. Scout & Cellar is every bit of that. So I jumped at the chance to get in on the ground level with this female-founded company.

HOW IT’S GOING

It started as a fun hobby that gave me a chance to think about something other than advertising — and, well, to get this ridiculously good wine at a discount since I was able to drink wine again. And now this is a legit business of mine that I can’t stop thinking about. I’m in the top 0.5% of Scout & Cellar. Since our start in 2017, we’ve experienced 100%+ growth year over year, projected to sell $174 Million in our 4th year. People. Love. This. Wine. And I love introducing people to a better, safer product.

HOW OUR WINE IS DIFFERENT

Scout & Cellar grows, sources and makes the cleanest wine you can get your hands on in the States, supporting farmers that are making wine the way nature does — not like a Coca-cola chemistry experiment.

  • No toxic chemicals, pesticides, herbicides or fungicides are put on our grapes or soil.

  • No dyes, sugar or sulfites, fillers, animal products, etc are used in the making and/or bottling of our products either.

This is all stuff that is in the wine you can get at the liquor and grocery store. And get this? None of it is needed to make wine. (But it’s needed to make fast profit).

The result? What’s been trademarked as Clean-Crafted™️ wine. It’s simply the grape off the vine to your glass.

We also independently lab test with UC Davis twice to ensure there’s been no run-off of chemicals from nearby wineries and no funky stuff used in the making and bottling processes. Yes, we’ve refused to sell wine that doesn’t hit our standards — the highest in the $80 billion wine industry.
